tonight I completed the two job applications I spent the weekend avoiding!! - one more interesting than t'other. This one also has a deadline a whole week and one day away!! an achievement for someone who usually procrastinates...time to put feet up now... |

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to all I know on Live Journal! Went to an indoor ticketed event for the first time in my life (Murrayfield Stadium) - bit of food, some ceilidh dancing, traditional stuff, pretty awful really but we were with a bunch of people so it didn't really matter - got free tickets otherwise wouldn't have gone but had a good time - Hogmanay is always an odd one ain't it. New Years Day spent with family playing "Shit on your Neighbour" (known more politely as Hearts)and eating yet more food and drinking some more wine...
sadly back to work Thursday......
Hope everyone had a great time and hope to see you soon (most likely in the Monkey).

It's my birthday and I'm having a party, well drinks, well drinks and food as it turns out.
For those not in the know and those I know are coming but havn't managed to contact yet (that's you Darkstones and Blu Matt!), the plan is to meet from 6pm at St Vincents Bar in Stockbridge - I and most others would like to fit in some food at some point so from around 7.30pm - 8.30pm we'll nip along to Iglu Bar & Restaurant, Jamaica Street - the plan is just to go for a main course to put some lining into our stomachs - so not a sit down 3 course meal or anything and then to return to St Vincents after that.
